Dr. Liliana Cabouli

I am Dr. Liliana Cabouli. I began my career as a licensed psychologist in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1988. For the next nine years, I worked in private practice, hospitals and the counseling center at Maimonides University. I have a strong psychoanalytic and systemic background and specialize in applying these disciplines to family therapy, child and adolescent behavioral and emotional problems, marital therapy , bi cultural family therapy and step-family issues. I also work with divorced and single adults that are struggling to find meaningful relationships.
When I came to the United States, I completed my doctorate and obtained my license in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked in school settings, in the foster care system and currently have my own private practice. I want to help you achieve the growth I know you can accomplish.
I believe in the value of human resources and in the healing power of change. I also believe that self-awareness and striving for growth are important in order to live a more fulfilling and happy life. I recognize that love and connection are important things in life and strive to promote these values in the lives of my clients and their families.
I am the creator of Strategic- Experiential Family Therapy, and publish the book for this model.
I have a radio show in Radio Hispana 1470AM "Ask Dr.Cabouli, And had been guess speaker in TV Univision and other radio programs.
I am a professor in Alliant International University.
I live with my husband and daughter in Scripps Ranch and have my private practice in the Miramar Road area.
